He is not only an outstanding trainer and judge of horseflesh as evidenced by many of his outstanding gallopers but he is a true international racing entrepreneur and an outstanding ambassador for the industry. With the help of a highly professional and efficient staff in both Australia and New Zealand, Graeme is able to maintain enormously succesful establishments on both sides of the Tasman. A new venture for Graeme in 2007 has been the establishment of a fully outfitted harness training stable, along with the purchase of 20 quality yearlings each subsequent year, that will form the foundation of an involvement in harness racing in New Zealand. The basis of the involvement is to satisfy a hobby interest but if the past is any guide we can look forward to an all out assault on the big races in the harness calendar in NZ and Australia.
